Join the Team
I’m building a team, not just running a campaign
Traditional campaigns recruit volunteers for the election, then everyone disappears once the election’s over. I’m doing something different.
I’m looking for people who want to help keep local voices at the heart of how the ward is represented. Think of it as community organising that carries on between elections – not something that stops once the election’s over.
What I need help with right now
Talking to residents
Join me to knock doors, hear what people care about, and have real conversations. This is the most valuable thing you can do – it shapes my priorities and builds relationships that last long term.
Occasional deliveries
Help distribute materials when there’s something important to share with residents. This might be updates on local issues or information people need. Deliver at your own pace and schedule.
Your ideas
I’m still figuring out what this team looks like. If you have skills, ideas, or time to offer – let’s talk about how it could work.
What this looks like going forward
This isn’t a one-and-done campaign. Representing the ward properly means staying connected with residents – and that continues:
- Helping organise community responses to planning, roads, facilities
- Supporting resident-led initiatives
- Keeping me informed about what’s happening locally
- Being part of problem-solving, not just problem-reporting
You’d be helping me represent the ward now and in the years ahead – not just around election times.
Interested?
Let me know what appeals to you. Even if you’re not sure yet, get in touch – I’d value the conversation.
